Liam

Liam is half human and half Fey (Faerie), except for his pointy ears and clothing, one might say that Liam resembles a young human boy from a distance.

The group fled their home after Liam’s mother Lady Aibhill [Ah-vall] a Banshee, was arrested for having a prior relationship with a human (High King Brian Boru). Their union bought them a son, “Liam”.

Liam is around 3 feet in height and weighs 90 pounds. His age is 10.

Liam has great potential with his future abilities. His mixed blood gives him increased strength and speed. At the age of 10, he has the strength of three grown men. His reflexes are those of an Olympic athlete.

His weapon training includes swordsmanship and some Martial Arts training.

Liam’s magic training hasn’t started yet, and he depends on his mentor Séamus for many things.

Séamus

Séamus is the heart and leader of this band of rooftop refugees. Séamus’s subspecies is called Pooka [poo-ka] (shape changer). Séamus can shift his shape into various animal forms (owl, deer, horse, mouse, and many others), but prefers his 8’ tall dragon shape.

Séamus is the only Pooka that can take on this dragon form, it is a mystery to the other Pookas, and in some ways makes him very special.

Séamus is old, wise, and very nurturing. He has become the guardian for Liam and the rest of their group and watches over the citizens of the Kingdom of Brooklyn.

He has incredible strength and resilience, his training includes earth magic, strategy, weapons, and open hand Martial Arts.

Séamus's use of earth magic is highly specialized, his grandmother trained him.

Séamus can weave a spell to fly, to shield himself or others, to generate a glimmer to appear as another person or object, and many others.

While fleeing the Tír na nÓg and the Other World, Séamus didn’t have time to teether the group to an oak tree allowing them to be secured through the Shadow Realm. Instead, the group was flung wildly into the future.

Aislinn

Aislinn [Ash-linn] is a formidable warrior of the Tuatha Dé Danann, belonging to the Pixies subspecies. Standing tall at 5'7", she is capable of shrinking down to one inch in height without compromising her strength or speed.

She is a symbol of feminist empowerment within the Fey (Faerie) world.

She is a fierce ally to Liam and Séamus, and when they travel to the future, she willingly abandons everything she has ever known to stand by their side. Within the group, Aislinn is

second-in-command when Séamus is absent. She leads with authority but has a huge heart.

Orator

Orator is an exceptional Celtic sword, known for its many special abilities and its short yet formidable size. The legendary High King Brian Boru once owned the sword, which was gifted to his last son Liam through his mother, Lady Aibhill.

Orator's unique abilities include shining bright to warn the holder of impending danger, and the power to cut through almost anything due to its enchantment.

However, its strongest ability is its power to stun an entire battlefield by amplifying the holder's voice. With incredible concentration by speaking into the sword, the holder's voice can subdue any opposing force and stun everyone on the battlefield.

Despite its flamboyant personality, which often manifests itself in obscure questions and musical show tunes, Orator has become a trusted friend and ally to Liam and his group.

Liam is the only person who can wield the sword, and if it is thrown, it will dislodge itself and return to his hand. Liam proudly carries Orator on his back, ready to unleash its power at any moment.

While petting the statue he began to cry, missing his mum. His tears animated the gargoyle and it bonded with Liam right away. Liam named his new pet “Marshmallow” after he found out it likes to eat fluffy snacks.

Marshmallow, even though he eats marshmallows, doesn’t need to eat at all he is still a stone statue that has been animated and given life. He does not talk, but often barks, whines, whimpers, howls, huffs, growls, yelps, and yips.

His love and dedication towards the group is unmatched, but he is attached to Liam at the hip. Twitchy would be a close backup.

Werewolves of Ossory “The Luchthonn (Lock-ton)”

The Werewolves of Ossory were groups of young men who lived in the wilderness and were believed to be closely connected to supernatural powers.

These landless warriors were often portrayed as unkempt and sometimes even naked. They were called Luchthonn or "wolf-skins" and were known to conduct raids, which they referred to as "going wolfing."

Eventually, these young men who had been living with the Tuatha Dé Danann turned into actual werewolves. They have been sent into the future to capture and bring back the rooftop refugees.
