Liam and Séamus In The Shadow Realm Adventures:
Introduction:
This enthralling urban fantasy tale is about a young boy named Liam and his best friend, a shape-changing dragon, Pooka, named Séamus.
The story begins in 1024 A.D., when Liam and Séamus fled their home, the Other World, from Tír na nÓg. The Tuatha Dé Danann, the magnificent race of beings, also known as the Aos Sí, Aes Sídhe, Daoine Sídhe, The Good Neighbors, Fae, Fey, Fair Folk, People of the Mounds, or the Faerie of later folklore, inhabit the Other World. This race of beings boasts of a diverse social and ethnic background, including many subspecies of the Fey. However, their animosity towards humans has lasted for centuries.
Liam and Séamus and party fled because of Lady Aibhill's arrest, Liam's mother and a Banshee, for having a prior relationship with a human, High King Brian Boru. Liam is the only Fey to be born of the two races and he is considered a threat by the Tuatha Dé Danann Council of Elders. This leads to the Tuatha Dé Danann's hunt for Liam and his companions.
The group consists of Liam a half Fey and Human, Séamus a shape-changing Pooka, a flying Pixie named Aislinn, a Leprechaun named Knuckles, an Imp named Twitchy, and a talking sword named Orator that belonged to Liam's father. The group's exodus from their home leads them through the Shadow Realm, where they become lost while being pursued, finally emerging in the Kingdom of Brooklyn, not knowing that they had time-traveled hundreds of years into the future.
The group now resides inside a water tower called "The Keep" on top of a Brooklyn condominium building. Their lives are filled with wonder and adventure as they try to coexist in a world full of people who do not believe they exist.
The group faces numerous challenges, including Tuatha Dé Danann's relentless hunt for them in the future.
The story is a thrilling adventure filled with magic, wonder, and danger. The characters are vivid and well-developed, each with their unique personality and backstory. The world-building is intricate, taking viewers on a journey through different realms and dimensions. Will Liam and his companions be able to survive and thrive in this new world?
